This position is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, focusing on high-quality meal preparation and exceptional food service. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry, with ServSafe certification. Duties Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food handling processes. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service. Utilize knife skills for precise food preparation, ensuring quality presentation. Provide excellent customer service while serving meals to our residents. Ensure compliance with dietary department regulations and standards. Skills Proven experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred. Strong background in meal preparation techniques. Proficient in food preparation, cooking, and food handling practices. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices within the culinary field. Excellent knife skills for efficient meal preparation. Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a kitchen while maintaining a positive attitude.
