Great food doesn't make itself — and at Avvio Millbury, we're looking for a Grill/Sauté Cook who takes serious pride in what comes out of their kitchen. WHAT YOU'LL DO
No two days are exactly the same, but here's the heart of the role: Cook proteins and entrées to order on the grill and sauté stations — this is a scratch kitchen, so get ready to prep, season, and cook your way through every shift Follow recipes with precision Manage multiple tickets and cook times at once without missing a beat Keep your station clean, stocked, and moving Work alongside a team that has each other's backs during the rush
WHO YOU ARE
You don't need a culinary degree or be a celebrity chef to thrive here.
You do need:
A genuine passion for food and a desire to keep getting better The ability to stay organized and focused when the tickets are coming in hot A positive attitude and a collaborative spirit Prior grill or sauté experience is a plus — but a strong work ethic and willingness to learn will take you far
QUALIFICATIONS
On paper, you bring: 1+ years of grill/sauté cook or scratch-kitchen experience preferred Working knowledge of basic knife skills, cooking methods, and kitchen safety/sanitation standards Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
