As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for our residents. Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for residents Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Ensure proper food handling and sanitation, and follow food storage procedures Assist with menu planning and food production as needed Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve culinary skills

Requirements:

Previous experience in a kitchen setting, preferrably in e medical setting Certificate or associate degree in culinary arts or cooking preferred Massachusetts food handling certificate and knowledge of geriatric diets Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Capacity to work in a team environment
