Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our menu items are prepared to perfection while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Support the dietary department by accommodating special dietary needs when necessary. Skills Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in a line cook or culinary role. Strong meal preparation skills with an emphasis on quality and presentation. Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. A passion for cooking and a desire to continuously improve culinary skills.
