Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage customer payments with precision Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency Manage food service customer orders from taking to serving, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety regulations at all times Assist in upselling menu items to enhance sales and improve customer experience Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to maintain hygiene standards across all tasks Support quick service restaurant operations by managing multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and addressing concerns promptly Skills Proven experience in food preparation and food service environments, including quick service or fast food restaurants(prefer) Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless transaction processing(prefer) Strong cash handling skills with attention to accuracy in processing payments and balancing registers(prefer) Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods(prefer) Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a friendly demeanor(prefer) Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards within the food industry(prefer) Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced setting(prefer) Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions(prefer) Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing inventory counts(prefer) Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a lively café or restaurant environment (prefer) Someone that speaks English and Spanish(required) All skill are not required, training will be provided.
