Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all aspects of food preparation, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards Lead menu planning efforts, incorporating dietary guidelines and customer preferences to develop innovative meal options Oversee food safety protocols, including sanitizing procedures, proper food handling, and temperature controls to maintain compliance with health regulations Manage kitchen operations during service hours, operating equipment such as grills and other culinary tools efficiently Ensure consistent quality in food production for catering events, and orders. Maintain inventory levels for ingredients and supplies while minimizing waste through effective stock management Skills Proven experience as a dietary aide or in a dietary department within healthcare or institutional settings. Fine dining experience demonstrating attention to detail and presentation excellence Strong background in food preparation techniques such as braising, poaching, grilling, and meal assembly Proficiency operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety management systems and sanitizing procedures to prevent contamination Exceptional knife skills coupled with experience in high-volume production environments Familiarity with food industry standards related to catering, serving, and large-scale food handling Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary modifications Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team under pressure while ensuring quality standards are met Join us as a Lead Cook where your culinary talents will elevate our food service operations!
