Duties Prepare ingredients and assist in meal assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, mixers, and slicers Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas in compliance with food safety regulations Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety management Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and delivery times Assist with menu planning by preparing ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus Skilled in food preparation techniques such as slicing, chopping, and portioning using proper knife skills and slicing techniques Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and food handling protocols Ability to follow recipes accurately while adhering to food safety guidelines Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Culinary experience demonstrating proficiency in cooking methods, meal preparation, and catering is desirable Join us to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant setting where quality, safety, and teamwork are at the forefront.
