We are a standalone, family-owned mom-and-pop roadhouse celebrating our 2-year anniversary! To mark the milestone, we are transitioning our menu to focus on incredible, high-quality West Michigan roadhouse comfort food. The best part? This transition is being spearheaded by our new Head Chef, who brings nearly 20 years of culinary experience from across the country. If you want a high-paying side gig where you can work alongside a seasoned professional and help execute a fresh culinary vision, this is it.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Line Cook or Prep Cook for a flexible part-time role (2-3 days a week). You will work directly with our Chef to execute scratch-made sauces, smoke meats, manage meat cutting, and help lock in recipe consistency for our new menu rollout. Why This is the

Reliable, clean, and organized. You know how to maintain food safety and kitchen organization without being handled.

Strong knife skills for meat cutting, experience following precise recipes for product consistency, and a comfortable familiarity with grilling, smoking, or volume prep.

You take pride in your craft and want a stable, high-paying side hustle where you can just cook great food and make extra money. Skills Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments Excellent knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques for various ingredients Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain consistency in meal preparation Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus Effective communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff and team members Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and catering experience is advantageous Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Passion for culinary arts with a desire to grow within the food industry This position is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals eager to hone their culinary skills while contributing to a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
