Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking part-time kitchen help to join our culinary team for a few evening/weekend shifts per week. Reliability and willingness to learn are essential. Must be 16 years old or older. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a strong understanding of food safety (or willingness to learn), and experience in a restaurant setting. Will train the right candidate to be successful. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including dishwashing and sanitizing work areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper handling of all food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation and presentation. Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and reporting shortages. Helping with dishes is a part of the job at times - although we do have dedicated dishwashers on most evenings. Requirements We will train motivated candidates. Experience in restaurant settings is a plus. Must Be at least 16 years old. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff members. A passion for cooking and providing exceptional dining experiences for guests. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
