Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with meal preparation, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food service and customer service. Responsibilities Perform food handling tasks in compliance with health and safety regulations. Participate in catering events, ensuring timely delivery and presentation of food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Utilize culinary skills to prepare various dishes while adhering to recipes and portion control guidelines. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Operate Cash register and handle tobacco and lottery sales. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and safety standards is essential.
