Depot Diner is a 60's-inspired restaurant situated adjacent to the aircraft runway on Table Rock Lake located in Golden, Missouri. We opened our doors and welcomed our first guest in 2022. Since then, we have had the honor of hosting and serving guests that travel in from all across the nation. Stepping into the Depot Diner is truly like taking a step back in time. Fascinated? We are seeking a Part-Time Cook available to work Monday-Saturday. As our Cook, you will utilize your culinary skills to prepare delicious breakfast, lunch and/or dinner made from scratch. Here at the Depot Diner, we have an immersive open kitchen to provide a one-of-a-kind dining experience. You'll be able to witness the joy your cooking brings to our guests' firsthand, right from the line. At Depot Diner we aim to prepare and serve every meal with a smile while focusing on quality and timeliness. We truly care about our guests and employees, we promise to be courteous and attend to even the finest details; we promise to treat everyone with respect; we appreciate and honor the differences of each individual and their story. Our goal is to have the cleanest restaurant in the front and back of the house with our restrooms being the cleanest in the county. Expectations of our Part-Time Cook- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and make quick decisions with a smile on your face. Cook breakfast, lunch and/or dinner, made from scratch, for our guests. Plan and prepare ingredients to ensure a timely dining experience while monitoring the inventory of food. Take pride in maintaining our high standards of food quality, safety and sanitation. Ensure cleanliness of the entire kitchen, prep line and dishes at all times. Follow the established closing and/or opening checklist to ensure smooth transitions throughout the day. Qualifications we are looking for in our Full-Time Cook- At least 1 year experience as a Cook. A High School Diploma or equivalent. Current Food Handlers Permit or ability to obtain within the first 30 days of employment. Apply today and we will be in touch soon!
