Garden View Care Center at Dougherty Ferry is a premiere skilled nursing facility in the St. Louis area. We are currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Dietary Cook. Candidates applying must be flexible and available to work varying shift times, as well as weekends and/or holidays. Experience in a long-term care facility or hotel setting is preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, menu planning, and meal preparation in a kitchen setting.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus
• Ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
• Follow proper food handling procedures and regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

Experience:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
• Familiarity with menu planning and catering concepts
• Ability to use kitchen equipment such as knives effectively
