Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our permanent multi food truck team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each dish meets our kitchen's standards. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including cooking stations and storage areas. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or discrepancies. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed during meal preparation and storage. Skills Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Experience in the food industry, particularly in high-volume kitchens. Proficiency in meal preparation techniques and culinary skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.
