Line Cook Constellis United States, North Carolina, Moyock 850 Puddin Ridge Road (Show on map) Oct 09, 2026 POSITION SUMMARY Prepares and cooks meals. Cleans and sanitizes the kitchen and dining area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management may deem necessary from time to time. Ability to read and follow recipes
Cook food according to recipes
Measure and portion ingredients according to recipes
Demonstrate food preparation skills to include peeling, cutting, slicing, dicing, mixing, etc.
Prepare food through blanching, braising, frying, baking, saute, rethermalizing, etc.
Follow food safety/ temperature protocols in all aspects of food storage, preparation and presentation in accordance with SERV Safe protocols
Ability to use and train others on the safe use of various kitchen equipment to include slicers, food processors, cooking equipment, etc.
Prepare buffet for service in accordance with hot/ cold holding protocols
Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils and wares in accordance with SERV Safe protocols
Must be able and willing to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required.
SERV Safe Certification required
SERV Safe Manager preferred
Two years of previous food service experience required.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clear driving record for the last five years.
Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion.
Problem solving skills with an analytical thought process.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to work fast-paced environment
