About This Role A Step Forward Early Learning Academy is seeking a reliable and organized Part-Time Cook to prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring our students receive high-quality nutrition in a safe, compliant environment. This individual will work part-time, Monday through Friday, beginning at 6:30am. What You'll Do Prepare and serve daily meals and snacks according to a set menu and schedule. Maintain a high standard of kitchen sanitation and food safety. Manage food inventory and kitchen supplies with a focus on efficiency. Adhere to all state licensing and health department food preparation regulations. Meticulously manage food allergy and dietary restriction requirements for students. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass criminal background check. Experience in a childcare setting or fast food/restaurant kitchen setting preferred. A warm, professional communication style and a "team-first" attitude.
