This is a safe, stable, recovery friendly workplace initiative providing a substance and alcohol free environment and supports for individuals in recovery and those with past or current criminal justice involvement. We are led by a 501c3 Non-profit organization providing supports for people with lived experience with drug use, recovery and a history of criminal justice involvement by those with lived experience.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Assist with catering events as needed
- Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
