We are a busy independent retail shop and café with a small, from-scratch kitchen serving brunch and lunch. We're looking for someone who enjoys prep work, is organized and efficient, and is also a confident baker . What you'll do: Prepare ingredients and recipes for daily café service Bake items such as cakes, bars, muffins, biscuits, scones and other café pastries Follow recipes accurately and consistently Prep vegetables, proteins, sauces, dressings and other menu components Portion and label ingredients Help keep the kitchen clean, organized and stocked Work closely with our chef to stay ahead of daily and weekend production We're looking for someone who: Has professional kitchen or bakery experience Can bake confidently without needing constant supervision Is organized, clean and efficient Understands food safety and proper storage Can follow recipes and produce consistent results Works well in a small kitchen and is comfortable staying busy Is dependable and shows up on time Can lift approximately 40 lbs and be on their feet for a shift This is a great position for someone who likes the rhythm of prep and baking and prefers a small independent café environment over a large restaurant kitchen .

Schedule:

Part-time or full-time depending on experience and availability. Daytime and weekend availability is important.
