Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food production appliances. Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and food handling regulations to ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment. Assist with menu planning and ingredient prep to support daily service demands while managing high-volume production. Execute cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other culinary methods with skill and precision. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation during busy service hours and uphold excellent food service standards. Follow recipe adherence closely to maintain consistency across all dishes served while contributing ideas for menu enhancements. Experience Proven experience as a line cook or culinary professional within fast-paced restaurant or food industry settings. Strong background in food preparation techniques including grilling, braising, poaching, and meal assembly. Experience working with dietary departments or catering environments is a plus. Familiarity with food safety management practices, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling protocols. Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure. Previous experience in fine dining or high-volume production environments is highly desirable. Excellent knife skills along with knowledge of recipe adherence and meal presentation standards.
