Responsibilities:

Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and kitchen standards Wash, peel, cut, chop, and prepare vegetables, meats, seafood, and other ingredients Prepare sauces, dressings, stocks, and other kitchen components Maintain organized and properly labeled food storage Follow food safety and sanitation standards Assist the Chef and line cooks with daily food preparation Keep the prep area clean and organized Monitor food quality and freshness Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when needed

Qualifications:

Previous prep cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to follow recipes and instructions Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when needed ServSafe certification is a plus
