Every shift is different—one minute you're crafting the perfect latte, the next you're making someone's breakfast or sharing a laugh with a regular. What You'll Do Every day is a little different, but you can expect to: Create Great Food & Drinks Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, and food according to Stacks recipes and quality standards. Operate café equipment including espresso machines, grinders, Turbo Chef ovens, panini presses, flat-top grills, microwaves, steam tables, and more. Assist with cold brew production and keg system operation. Use basic knife skills while preparing fresh food. Take Care of Our Guests Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism. Deliver fast, friendly service—even during the morning rush. Ring orders accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card transactions. Help create a café experience that keeps people coming back. Keep the Café Running Smoothly Open or close the café following company procedures. Keep workstations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service. Complete temperature logs, production records, and required documentation. Follow all food safety, sanitation, physical safety, and HACCP standards. Wear required PPE when appropriate. Be Part of the Team Pitch in wherever help is needed. Accept feedback with professionalism and a willingness to learn. Attend trainings, cuppings, quarterly shop meetings, and all-staff meetings. Take pride in making Stacks a fun place to work. Reliable and show up when they say they will. Friendly and genuinely enjoy working with people. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Able to multitask while staying calm under pressure. Team players who jump in to help. Curious and excited to keep learning. Professional, kind, and respectful. Able to stand for shifts up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds. Previous experience as a barista, cook, or in customer service is helpful, but not required. Bonus points if you have a great sense of humor.
