Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This role requires proficiency in various cooking techniques, food preparation, and an understanding of food safety standards. Experience in fine dining or catering is a plus, as you will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes that meet our restaurant's high standards. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed Perform regular quality checks on ingredients and finished dishes Utilize proper knife skills for meal preparation and presentation Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality service Requirements Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry Strong culinary skills with knowledge of cooking techniques and food handling practices Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is advantageous Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining service standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Join us in delivering exceptional dining experiences through your culinary expertise!
