Overview Join our team as a Prep Cook in our busy bakery cafe in the village of Huntington. Must have daytime availability weekdays/weekends. Mighty Fine Huntington is looking for experienced kitchen staff ready to help prepare fruits, vegetables and meats, and assemble sandwiches and salads. This position is available part or full time in Huntington. Must be authorized to work in the US and have reliable transportation. Responsibilities Prepare food according to the direction of our Kitchen Manager. This is includes batch recipes like cookie dough, washing and preparing vegetables, etc. Daily production of sandwiches and salads and other items when ordered by guests. Maintain accuracy in recipes with careful attention to detail. Ensure ingredients are handled carefully to maintain food cost budgets. Follow sanitation and cleanliness guidelines with care. Assist in daily cleaning of the kitchen and dishwashing. Qualifications Proven experience in food or bakery production in a professional setting. Knowledge of food handling regulations and food industry best practices. Teamwork attitude so we all grow and succeed together. Basic English proficiency. Available for shifts between 7 am and 7 pm, especially weekdays. Salary & Benefits Hourly pay of $18.00-$22 an hour based on experience. Set schedule for most weeks, with seasonal variations.
