We are seeking a skilled cook adept at working in a dynamic coffee shop environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to preparing, cooking, and serving exceptional Dominican-inspired brunch dishes and specialty coffee, ensuring each item meets Don Carvajal Cafe's high standards of quality during every service.

You will:

Prepare, set up, cook, clean, and break down all foods to Company standards operating procedure. Understand and promote the Company values. Ensure that all Company food recipes and procedures are followed, maintaining the highest quality and consistent product standards. Promote and practice safe work habits through training, education, and day-to-day management. Identify and resolve potential safety hazards and ensure accidents are documented following proper procedure. Work with the senior kitchen team to ensure any maintenance or repairs needed are actively resolved.

Qualifications:

To excel as a Line Cook at Don Carvajal Cafe, individuals must satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements outlined below reflect the necessary knowledge, skill, and ability. Line Cooks are expected to complete all provided training materials thoroughly to ensure a comprehensive understanding of our menu and to deliver exceptional dishes. This role requires frequent standing and walking for extended periods, as well as reaching, kneeling, and occasional climbing (such as stairs to storage areas).
