Our busy restaurant is looking for a professional Pizza Chef who can help prepare meals as per our standard recipes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating meal portions, cleaning food, cooking meals and keeping a sanitized work area. The line position is responsible for food prep, making customer orders correctly, proper and consistent presentation according to Company specifications in a fast-paced quick service restaurant environment.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Practice safe food handling and cleanliness at all times Follow proper company preparation standards to portion and prepare menu items based on guest choice Set up the line for beginning of shift and ensures back-ups are stocked for the next shift Maintain clean and organized kitchen work stations Communicate with other team members to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction III. Physical Requirements Work may be fast paced and a high degree of quality and accuracy are required. Must maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time Expected shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Will be exposed to possible food allergens including but not limited to; meats, fish, nuts, dairy, and oils Will be exposed and expected to properly use cleaning chemicals Lift up to 40lbs constantly Lift from floor to shoulder constantly and overhead infrequently Twists, reaches, & bends frequently Listen to and comprehend instructions from Leads, Managers, and coworkers over background restaurant and equipment noise constantly Frequent hand washing required III.

Other duties as assigned by Leads or Managers, may vary based on the needs of the business Must adhere to company uniform and appearance policy Adhere to schedule and be on time for shifts Operate and participate effectively in a team environment

Skills/Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:

1 year experience in related industry. Good communication skills, friendly and polite demeanor Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant. Strong interpersonal skills; Team player Can demonstrate high level accuracy with portioning menu items to standards while maintaining pace and intensity

Job Type:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
