Breakfast & Lunch Cook Old Souls | Main Street, Perry, NY Old Souls is hiring a Breakfast & Lunch Cook to help drive a fast-paced, quality-focused daytime kitchen. This role is for someone who can move with urgency, stay organized under pressure, and take real pride in the food they put out. If you've worked a busy line, can handle eggs, sandwiches, and tickets flying in—and still keep your standards high—you'll fit right in.
What You'll Be Doing:
Running breakfast and lunch service with speed and consistency Cooking eggs, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch items to spec Keeping tickets moving without sacrificing quality Maintaining a clean, tight, and efficient workspace Working as part of a small, focused team that expects everyone to pull their weight Assist with prep work, stocking, and kitchen organization Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace Work collaboratively with front-of-house and bakery staff Help contribute ideas for specials and menu development
What We Expect:
Solid kitchen experience (breakfast experience is a big plus) Ability to stay calm and focused during a rush Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail Reliability—show up, be ready, do your job well Pride in your work—no shortcuts, no sloppy plates Availability for mornings and weekends
