Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Cashier/Cook to join our vibrant food service team! Responsibilities Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and give correct change while maintaining accountability. Greet customers warmly, take their food orders, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities. Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including basic food handling and sanitation practices. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools required for quick service food preparation. Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation standards, cleaning as you go, and ensuring food safety protocols are followed at all times. Manage food service customer order management effectively to ensure timely delivery of orders and high customer satisfaction. Support the team in operating the café or restaurant smoothly during busy periods by assisting with serving customers when needed. Uphold food safety management practices by following proper hygiene procedures and sanitation guidelines consistently. Assist in inventory control by monitoring supplies and notifying supervisors of stock needs or shortages. Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant environments is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Demonstrated ability to handle cash register operations accurately along with retail sales transactions. Experience with food preparation, culinary tasks, or working in a food industry setting is desirable. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during high-volume periods. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude that enhances guest experiences. Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash accurately.
