Duties Assist with meal planning and prepare ingredients according to established recipes and menus Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, slicers, ovens, and other culinary tools Prepare food items adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and portion control standards Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety regulations Support food handling procedures to ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are upheld at all times Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service delivery Contribute to catering events by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality and presentation standards Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong knowledge of menu planning, food preparation, and cooking techniques Experience operating kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff and other team members Proven ability to handle food industry tasks such as slicing techniques, knife skills, and recipe adherence Prior restaurant or catering experience is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for culinary arts is essential Join us to be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in food service!
