Join our team at Courtyard Marriott Grove City as a Bistro Cook! We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to provide excellent culinary services in our Bistro restaurant. If you're passionate about preparing delicious, high-quality meals and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, this role is for you! As a Bistro Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food in our hotel's Bistro, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation. You'll collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook menu items in a timely and consistent manner. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure food quality and cost control. Assist with menu planning and ingredient sourcing when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including following all food safety regulations. Collaborate with the Bistro team to ensure an exceptional guest experience. Set up and break down workstations and clean kitchen equipment. Monitor food inventory and assist with stock ordering and receiving. Ensure all health and safety standards are met.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Culinary degree preferred). At least 2 years of experience in a kitchen or bistro environment (adjust based on the level of experience you're looking for). Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques. Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment. Strong attention to detail and a passion for food quality. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Food safety certification (preferred but not required - can be offered after hire).

Base Pay:

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
