Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times Assist with meal assembly, portioning, and plating to deliver visually appealing dishes Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service Follow food handling procedures meticulously to uphold safety standards in production and storage Support menu planning efforts by providing feedback on recipes and ingredient needs when necessary Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong culinary skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production Skilled in knife techniques, slicing methods, and general food preparation processes Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Ability to communicate clearly with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus but not required Strong attention to detail in recipe adherence, meal preparation, and cleaning routines Embark on a culinary adventure where your skills are valued and your passion for great food makes a difference!
