Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your culinary skills will help deliver exceptional dining experiences, ensuring every plate meets our high standards of flavor, presentation, and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your kitchen expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting that values enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assemble components according to standardized recipes and menu specifications Cook a variety of dishes with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, fryers, slicers, and food processors Follow food safety protocols and handle food properly to prevent contamination or spoilage Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices Assist with meal prep for catering events or large orders as needed Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timing and ensure smooth service flow Requirements Previous experience in a food service environment, including restaurant or catering experience Knowledge of food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and food handling Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to menu guidelines Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced setting Experience with dietary department procedures or dietary aide responsibilities is a plus Demonstrated commitment to food safety management and cleanliness standards Join us if you're passionate about culinary arts, eager to grow your skills in a lively kitchen environment, and ready to contribute to memorable dining experiences!
