Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Handle food with care, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times Use knife skills and culinary techniques to prepare ingredients efficiently and accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including proper food handling and storage Support catering events and special functions with meal preparation and serving responsibilities Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and smooth kitchen operations Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven kitchen experience in a restaurant or food service setting, with knowledge of food industry standards Strong food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly skills Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Excellent knife skills and proficiency in culinary techniques Ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in a high-pressure environment Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is a plus Passion for the culinary arts with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction Embark on a flavorful journey with us where your skills make a real impact!
