Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated cook to join our team, bringing their culinary expertise and vibrant energy to our dining environment. We are looking for mature staff that have experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and accommodating special dietary needs. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards. Handle food with care, demonstrating proper knife skills, food handling techniques, and cooking methods. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery. Provide excellent customer service by serving guests efficiently and addressing their dietary preferences or concerns. Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and temperature controls. Requirements Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred. Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry. Strong knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures. Familiarity with fine dining standards or catering environments is a plus. Excellent knife skills, attention to detail in food presentation, and ability to work efficiently under pressure. Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting while demonstrating enthusiasm for culinary arts.
