Job Description
Lyrics Cafe is a scratch kitchen in Newberg making soups, market salads, sauces, sandwiches, and baked goods from the ground up. We've grown, and we're hiring for our prep team.
This starts at part-time and moves toward full-time depending on skill and availability. There's room to grow.
PAY$17-20/hr depending on experience, plus a guaranteed $6/hr in tips. Guaranteed, not averaged. Real take-home is $23 to $26 an hour.
Receiving and organizing deliveriesKeep your station and the walk-in clean and organized as you go
Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for a full shiftWHY LYRICSScratch cooking with real standards and real recipesRoom to grow. More hours, more responsibility, more pay as you take on more.

DODaily prep production: proteins, sauces, dressings, market salads, soups, large-batch itemsWork off our production schedule and recipe standardsBreak down and stock the line; keep pars accurateHold cooling, labeling, dating, and rotation standardsDishwashing. Everyone in this kitchen washes dishes, including us. It's part of the job, not somebody else's problem.Receiving and organizing deliveriesKeep your station and the walk-in clean and organized as you go
