Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations. Assist in menu planning and development of new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices is essential. Culinary training or certification is a plus but not required. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods are highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent communication skills and teamwork mentality are essential for success in this role.
