Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to recipes, standards, and safety guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, slicers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and kitchen appliances in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and ensuring ingredient availability Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure freshness, quality, and safety of all ingredients Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service Adhere strictly to safety standards during food production and maintain a clean, organized workspace Requirements Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related culinary role within the food industry or restaurant environment Strong knife skills with proficiency in slicing techniques and ingredient preparation Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations Experience with menu planning, recipe adherence, and meal presentation techniques Ability to operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Join us if you're eager to bring your culinary talents to life in a vibrant setting!
