Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and food processors Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards Assist with food handling, portioning, slicing techniques, and meal preparation to meet service times Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food production Follow safety procedures during food preparation and handling to prevent contamination or accidents Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements based on ingredient availability and customer preferences Experience Previous experience in a food service environment or restaurant setting is required Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food industry standards and safety management practices Skilled in knife handling, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence to ensure consistent quality Familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely and effectively Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment Catering experience or background in food preparation for large groups is a plus.

Pay:

$15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
