Job Description

Moravian Manor Communities , located in the charming town of Lititz, PA, is a respected not-for-profit senior living community with a 50-year tradition of serving older adults. We are currently seeking an experienced Prep Cook to join our dedicated Culinary Services team at the Owl's Nest Restaurant on our beautiful Warwick Woodlands campus. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a reliable daytime schedule. The Prep Cook will work 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Candidates must be available to work every other holiday and have some flexibility to work occasional alternate hours to assist with special events. Prep Cook:
Prepares and handles food in accordance with sanitary regulations established by the Pennsylvania Health Department. Help Breakfast Cook with service, prep, and dishwashing. Estimates quantities of food necessary to be pulled and time needed for preparation in order to meet the menu requirements. Preps all food items on the menu in accordance recipe standards Washes dishes as needed Cleans equipment and work area as assigned following established procedures and cleaning schedules. Prep Cook:
Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age. Minimum of one (1) year experience and/or on the job training in general food service and preparation Some knowledge of nutrition and modified diets preferred. Some experience with preparing and setting up banquets and buffets preferred. Some experience with garnishing techniques preferred.
