The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality meals to our guests. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and collaborating with other kitchen staff to create an exceptional dining experience. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances. Collaborate with the Service department to accommodate special dietary needs and requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and storage areas. Participate in catering events as needed, helping to prepare meals for larger groups. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Experience Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred. Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Experience with meal preparation for catering services is a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
