Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen operations Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service efficiently during busy hours Monitor food inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients or supplies Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new ideas or improvements based on customer feedback and culinary trends Requirements Proven experience in a restaurant or food service environment, ideally as a line cook or culinary assistant Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools safely and effectively Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques Experience with meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills along with effective communication abilities Prior kitchen experience in the food industry or catering services is highly desirable Embark on a flavorful journey with us!
