Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Cook, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional food service and seamless transactions. Duties Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and presentation. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food production and maintain cleanliness. Manage customer orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, accurately processing transactions and handling cash register operations. Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, upselling menu items, and addressing guest inquiries with enthusiasm. Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by following sanitation protocols, including bussing tables and cleaning food prep areas regularly. Handle retail sales transactions confidently, including processing cash, credit card payments, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Assist in food safety management by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining compliance with health regulations. Experience Previous experience in quick service restaurants or fast food environments is highly preferred. Demonstrated culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient order processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours. Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service with a friendly attitude. Experience in retail sales transactions, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate register operations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential.
