Job Summary We are seeking a cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cooking breakfast and lunch for toddler, preschool and prek kids in a childcare setting. This role involves being able to properly prepare meals using a daily menu, maintain cleanliness of kitchen, knowledgeable of health Department requirements for compliance, and maintain/knowledge of inventory. Candidate must be clean, neat appearance, dependable and timely, able to disinfect and sanitize and have a pleasant personality. Duties Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to healthy meal preparation. Communicate effectively with staff, health Department and state workers. Meal preparation and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed. Able to multitask and critical thinking Experience Candidates should possess experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers or similar environment where meals are prepared.
