Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook with 1 year restaurant cooking experience to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes while adhering to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. Your expertise in culinary techniques and food handling will contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and taste. Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools. Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed for the dietary department. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes. Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively within a team environment to help achieve overall kitchen goals. Qualifications Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry is preferred. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
