• Must maintain current Texas Food Handlers Certification
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-stress professional kitchen environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older, and able to responsibly work around alcohol
• Must have engaging communication skills and work well with others Essential Duties
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and move 150 lbs or more using assistive equipment as necessary
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, up to 5 hours
• Must be able to work efficiently and accurately in a fast paced kitchen environment
• Ability to use point-of-sale system with accurate cash-handling and credit card processing required Position Summary Hound Song Brewing Co.

is adding a full commercial kitchen to its existing operation and is seeking a Line Cook to assist in this operation. This is an hourly, part time position. The successful candidate will be expected to work 20-30 hours per week, with weekends and evenings being required. The Line Cook has responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations according to established procedures
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks according to senior chef's guidance
• Plating prepared foods based on senior chef's guidance
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
• Additional tasks around the brewery as required (specific training will be provided)
• Completes all tasks as assigned by the Kitchen Manager/Chef
• Maintains licenses and complete trainings as directed by the Owners and General Manager
• Other duties as assigned Compensation and Benefits Hourly Line Cook wage, to be paid bi-weekly.
