Responsibilities Prepare and cook breakfast and morning meals according to established recipes and menu guidelines Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, ovens, poachers, braising pots, and food production appliances Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to food safety management and sanitizing protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination Assist in menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients and dietary needs Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and portion control during meal preparation Support dietary department requirements by accommodating special diets or dietary aide instructions when necessary Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy morning shifts Experience Previous food service experience in a restaurant or catering environment is highly preferred Proven culinary experience with skills in food preparation, grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and safe food handling practices Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment safely and effectively Knowledge of recipe adherence, meal preparation standards, and high-volume production processes Dietary aide or dietary department experience is a plus but not required Strong knife skills and proficiency in food industry best practices for quality control Join us as a Full Time Morning Cook to bring your passion for culinary arts into a dynamic team dedicated to excellence!
