Liberty Tavern is a locally owned neighborhood restaurant and bar serving quality food in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. We're looking for a dependable and motivated Line Cook who takes pride in preparing great food and works well as part of a busy kitchen team. What you'll do: Prepare and cook menu items accurately and consistently Follow recipes, portion standards, plating guidelines, and ticket instructions Set up and maitain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station Work efficiently during high volume shifts Communicate clearly with other cooks, servers, and managers Assist with food preparation, stocking, labeling, and proper rotation Follow food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures Help receive and properly store food deliveries when needed Minimize food waste and use ingredients responsibly Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties Support teammates wherever needed to keep service running smoothly What we're looking for: Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience Ability to prepare food quickly without sacrificing quality or presentation Dependable, punctual, and ready to work at the scheduled time Comfortable working in a fast paced environment Able to stay calm and focused during busy services Strong attention to cleanliness, consistency, and food safety Willingness to learn Liberty Tavern's recipes and standards Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Must be available for a combination of days, nights, adn weekends Current TX Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain one Why join Liberty Tavern?
