Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicing tools Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist in menu planning by providing input on ingredient availability and preparation techniques Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety standards are met at all times Support catering events or special meal preparations as needed, ensuring quality and consistency Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is highly preferred Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production environments Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams Culinary experience including recipe adherence, meal preparation, and operating various kitchen equipment is essential Catering experience or background in the food industry will be considered advantageous Join us as a vital part of our culinary team where your skills will be celebrated!
