The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dishes are prepared to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Assist in meal preparation for catering events and special occasions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal offerings. Qualifications Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and kitchen procedures. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Previous experience in a dietary department is a plus but not required.
