Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the childcare facility
- Prepare meals (breakfast and lunch) for the center
- Deliver/ pass out meals/snacks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and food storage areas
- Assist with meal preparation and food service for children
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a childcare setting is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff members
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
Note:
This position may involve working in a kitchen or food service environment. While previous experience in the food industry or as a dietary aide is not required, it can be beneficial in understanding food handling procedures and ensuring the safety of children during meal preparation.Job Type:
