Job Description

Joy Time Kitchen is looking for a part-time Prep Cook to help with our weekly chicken preparation at our commercial kitchen in Chantilly. The main job is preparing and frying chicken for our Orange Chicken. We have an established process and will provide training on how we prepare and fry the chicken.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and frying chicken in batches Following our recipe and frying process Handling raw chicken safely Keeping the work area and equipment clean Cleaning up after production We're looking for someone who has restaurant or commercial kitchen experience and is comfortable working with raw chicken and hot oil. Fryer experience is a plus. Most importantly, we need someone who is reliable, comes to work on time, works carefully, and can follow our process consistently. This position is usually 1-2 days per week, depending on our weekly sales and production needs. Each production shift is usually around 7 hours, and we typically prepare and fry about 100 lbs of chicken per shift. Once you are fully trained and able to work independently, the weekly schedule can be flexible based on your availability.

Pay:

$18-$20/hour, depending on experience.
