Are you a team player who wants to make a difference to our seniors? It is critical to embrace the philosophy of making every day special for our cherished residents and their families. Senior Care/Long Term Care food service experience preferred but willing to consider the right candidate cook, sous chef, restaurant/catering cooking experience (no fast food for this position), great skills and big heart. This particular position is not sit down restaurant style service, but rather institutional/catering where meals meals are prepared in large quantity then dished and served with only slight variations for specific dietary limitations. Our chef is responsible for the following:

• able to follow written recipes for batch cooking
• able to follow guidelines for plating and portion
• inventory maintenance/stock rotation
• preparation/service of regular and therapeutic diets
• maintain clean and sanitary work environment including deep cleaning and daily dishes on work days
• performance and guidelines within Washington State regulation
• Must be able to pass finger print background check.
